About the role

Precious Moments Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team in Madeley, WA. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and early childhood education to our young learners. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the holistic development of children in a nurturing and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

Implementing engaging and age-appropriate learning activities that stimulate children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development

Ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming learning environment for children

Observing and documenting children's progress, and collaborating with parents/guardians to support each child's individual needs

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a high standard of care

Actively participating in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

Fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a sense of community

What we're looking for

Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Diploma in Children's Services (Certificate III graduates working towards Diploma also considered)

Minimum 6-12 months of experience working in a childcare or early learning environment, with a demonstrated understanding of child development and learning

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing exceptional care and learning experiences

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with basic office administration tasks such as filing, data entry, and phone handling
