Educator (classroom support)

This role will involve supporting individual students and/or small groups of students in Reception to Year 6 with a range of needs within the school, under the direction of the teacher or the leadership team.

Ideally the candidate will have a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent) with an passion to support children’s learning. Applicants undertaking a Education studies are also encouraged to apply.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm for 41 weeks (during school terms and 1 week prior to start of term 1).

Mandatory requirements:

Approved Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate

First Aid Certificate – HLTAID012Provide first aid in an education and care setting

Current acceptable Department of Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC)
