Job Description
We're looking for adedicated educatorto join our team at**St Agatha's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)**in Clayfield! We provide before school, after school, and vacation care for up to 75 children.
As an OSHC educator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of children, ranging from prep to year 12. Your responsibilities will include creating fun and educational activities, preparing and serving snacks, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCareβs expectations and educational philosophy.
**Job Requirements: **
- Cert III or Diploma qualified in Children's Services (ACECQA equivalent) or willingness to study.
- Previous childcare experience would be preferred.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
