We are currently seeking a passionate and qualifiedEducator / ECTto join our vibrant, nature-based kindergarten in Stones Corner.

Your Role as Educator / ECT

As a key member of our team, you will:

Deliver a high-quality educational programs.

Mentor and support educators to grow in their professional practice, confidence, and capability.

Support the team to embed the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and other approved learning frameworks into everyday practice.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement, reflective practice, and professional learning

Work in partnership with the Director and Educational Leader to guide ongoing goals aligned with the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Collaborate with families and the local community to build inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments.

Be a role model for best practice, innovation, and child-centred education.

Located behind Hanlon Park along the beautifully rewilded Norman Creek,Stones Corner Community Kindergartenis a tranquil, bushland haven where nature inspires every aspect of learning.

You’ll be guiding 22 eager learners in their final kindergarten year before they start school, aiming to set them up for success in their lifelong education journey. You’ll be teaching with the support of up to 3 other dedicated and passionate early childhood educators three days a week Wednesday to Friday.

A thorough handover and ongoing professional development will ensure you feel confident and supported in this role.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this position, you’ll bring:

ABachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education(or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA).

Acurrent Blue Card, along with validFirst Aid, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxistraining.

Completion ofCHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk.

Knowledge & ability to interpret the Listening and Learning Together: C&K Curriculum Approach, The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (V2 EYLF) and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Leadership experience in early childhood settings—or a demonstrated willingness to grow into a leadership role, particularly in a community-run kindergarten environment.
