Holistic Approach Family Day Care

Holistic Approach Family Day Care Scheme is excited to enter into the New South Wales Family Day Care market and is looking for the perfect candidate to help us set up our NSW branch. This position will be ideally based in the Albury or Wagga Wagga and surrounds, with our office located in the Albury. You will be required to recruit, support and focus on educators' strengths as well as having a very proactive attitude towards daily operations. Must be confident to put yourself out there to recruit and promote the FDC sector and our service. Required to be confident to work independently. Initially, the role will be across two days, with the likelihood to increase as our team grows. You will be required to work alongside our CEO and General Manager - with some travel required to our office in Melbourne.

HAFDC is a unique company running across 4 states, with New South Wales being our most recent addition. It has a very strong focus on its educator support, community-based projects and offers a great working environment with family friendly, flexible working conditions.

Skills required: Self-motivated, hardworking, great time management, dedicated to providing exceeding quality care for children in a FDC setting, outside the box thinker.

Previous experience desirable in mentoring and motivating FDC educators. Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in Children's Service, Working with Children Check, Current Police check, First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis qualifications (ACECQA approved), drivers' license.

Selection Criteria:

Sound NQF Experience and knowledge.

Thorough organisational skills.

Ability to travel both interstate and regionally.

Interest in working on State and National projects.

Efficient management skills.

FDC background preferred but not essential.

Great knowledge of Education and Care regulations and an understanding of Family Assistance Law

Sound experience in mentoring a team.

Willingness to contribute ideas to our national team.

Outside the box thinker and pro-active attitude.

Be self-motivated, hardworking, dedicated and holistic in approach.

Ability to be flexible in your approach to different Educator skills and backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma in Children’s Services.

Working with Children Check.

Current First Aid / Asthma / Anaphylaxis / CPR (ACECQA Approved).

Child Protection and Safe Sleep Certification.

Driver's license.

Reliable car with comprehensive insurance
