At Poppi’s Preschool and Long Day Care, we are seeking an ambitious, driven and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in afull-time Educator role at our new service. We are looking for an educator who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families.

About Us

Poppi’s Preschool and Long Day Care is a family-owned and family-run, 46-place service located in the heart of the Sutherland Shire, Miranda. We have recently bought a second service and looking to build a experienced team.

The Role

-

Full-time position: 4 x 10-hour days per week (40 hours).

Located in our2–3 year old room and/or 3-5 rooom, working closely with an experienced team.

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children, families and the team.

Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.

Comply with National Quality Standards and Poppi’s policies and procedures.

Drive a positive and respected working environment.

Support a fun, collaborative and nurturing team culture.

Assist in delivering the educational program while fostering a sense of belonging for children and their families.

Keep families connected and engaged in their child’s learning journey.

Requirements

-

A recognised Early Childhood Education qualification.

Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

Current Working with Children Check.

Previous experience in early childhood education (essential).

Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and inclusive practices.

Understanding of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements.
