Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiasticToddler Room Team Leaderto join our dedicated team. You will lead the toddler room (typically ages 1β3 years), overseeing a small team of educators whilst ensuring high standards of care, education, and safety are maintained. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years and ready to take the next step in their leadership journey within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and inspire a team of educators in the toddler room.
Delegate and complete daily duties and ensure effective room organisation.
Use your roomβsmonthly budgetcreatively to enhance the learning environment and support child-led interests.
Mentor, support developing team members.
Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
Child Development & Curriculum
Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with theEYLF framework.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support individual development.
Create a rich, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports learning through play.
Supporting Health, Wellbeing and Safety
Build strong relationships with children, supporting their emotional, social, and physical development.
Ensure the highest levels ofwellbeing,health, andsafetyare maintained at all times.
Partnerships & Communication
Build trusting, professional relationships with families, keeping them informed about their childβs progress.
Work in partnership with other team leaders and thesupportive management teamto ensure consistency and quality across the centre.
Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma Qualified or Certificate 3 for the right candidate
Strong knowledge of the EYLF and the National Quality Standard
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

RHAAN-EC
Food Safety Training
