Happy Sproutsis****a privately run, family owned Long day care service from 6 weeks through to Kindergarten. We have a child centered curriculum which focuses on development and learning through play based experiences and thoughtful intentional teaching.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for aFully****Registered Early Childhood Teacherwith passion, dedication and boundless enthusiasm to join the team.

In this role you will:

· Plan and implement an inspired and holistic program based on children's strengths and interests

· Document the learning which is occurring to share with families and children

· Guide and support children's behaviours inclusively and with respect

· Interact with children and families in a positive, sensitive,professional and respectful manner

· Work cohesively with other team members using consultative, interpersonal and supervisory skills

· Implement your sound knowledge of the Approved Learning Frameworks

· Prepare for and conduct parent teacher interviews and Information sessions

· Building deep and meaningful connections with children, families, other team members and the community

· Use Effective time management skills

· Championing child safety and achieving positive learning outcomes for every child

About You

As our newest team member, you will be an experienced ECT that has:

· Minimum 1-2 years of Early Childhood Teaching experience

For the service:

· Approved Early Childhood Teacher Qualification (Bachelor's or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education)

· Current approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualification

· Current VIT - mandatory (Full or Provisional)

· A genuine love for children, their development, .

· Strong knowledge of EYLF, VEYLDF,NQS, and the play based learning approaches

· A commitment to child safety and successful completion of relevant Child Protection training

· Valid Working with Children Check required before commencement

· Australian working rights (Visa/Passport)

· Have a strong work ethic

· Have a real passion for working with children and really enjoy engaging and learning with them

· Have a willingness to go the extra mile which highlights their personal dedication

· Have lots of enthusiasm and show initiative

· Be a positive role model
