We are currently seeking adedicated and passionate Lead Educatorto join their esteemed centre. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service that values collaboration, creativity, and the holistic development of every child.

About the Role

As a Lead Educator, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. You’ll lead by example, guiding and mentoring a team of educators, while ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and supported in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs aligned with the centre’s curriculum and early learning frameworks.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing support to educators within your team.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, colleagues, and the community.
• Champion safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning spaces that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Monitor and document children’s learning and development, ensuring accurate and meaningful records.
• Facilitate activities that foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
• Communicate regularly with families about their child’s progress and wellbeing.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and quality standards.

About You

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Previous experience in an early childhood setting, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early learning frameworks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Creativity and adaptability in program planning and implementation.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s holistic growth.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Working with Children Check (or equivalent).
