Lecturer in Early Childhood Education- Sessional Positions

About the role

The Crown Institute of Higher Education is seeking highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Education Lecturers to join our academic team. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, assessments and research supervision to our undergraduate and postgraduate students. This position is based in our Sydney campus.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials and workshops to undergraduate and postgraduate students

Developing and marking assessments, including exams, essays and projects

Providing academic advice and support to students, including supervising research projects

Participating in curriculum development and review to ensure course content is relevant and up-to-date

Conducting research and publishing in high-quality academic journals to contribute to the institute's research profile

Undertaking administrative duties such as student consultations, committee work and attending staff meetings

What we're looking for

A relevant postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Significant experience teaching in higher education, with a strong track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons

Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education theory, curriculum development and assessment design

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the institute's research agenda
