Job Description
We're looking for an experienced educator and leader to join us as theCoordinatorof Southern Cross OSHC at ourWoody Point campus!
At Southern Cross Outside School Hours Care, we provide before school care and after school care for up to 59 children. We are proud to support the families and children of the school, parish and local community.
You wonβt be alone in this journey. Youβll be supported by a dedicated team of Educators and a committed management team, ensuring you have all the resources you need to succeed.**
Enjoy the stability of a permanent, full-time role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with split shifts.
This term-time role comes with the option to work at nearby OSHC services during vacation careβgiving you extra opportunities if you want them!
Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
- Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor of the service
- A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
- Previous experience in childcare service management
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
- Proven leadership skills to develop a team of staff
