About the role:

We are seeking part time or casual Outside School Hours Care Educators to join our professional team in Burnie, ideally with full availability across Monday - Friday, both before and after school hours, however, we can offer flexibility for the right candidate. We are dedicated to providing high-quality early education programs for children in a safe, secure, challenging and nurturing environment that is rich, flexible and encourages learning, curiosity, creativity and exploration. You will work with children in our dedicated indoor and outdoor facilities, supported by a team of experienced managers.

You must have:

A fun and outgoing attitude to work

A willingness to learn and an interest in working with children

Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours (mostly mornings and evenings)

Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration – or willingness to obtain

Preferable: A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care – or a desire to study (fully funded and supported by Discovery)
