About Scotts Road****Child Care Centre

Owned and operated by a passionate team with over 35 years of childcare experience, Scotts Road is a full service, purpose-built child care centre located in Darra, Brisbane.

We offer families a high quality early learning program for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, as well as before and after school care and vacation programs.

Opened in 2018, our centre features six spacious, bright early learning rooms, beautiful age-specific resources and as well as an incredible outdoor wonderland for children to explore and enjoy. We are excited to welcome a newPart-time Assistant Educatorinto our supportive and friendly team. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to become part of the regular staff in a part-time position.

Qualifications and requirements

Holding or studying towards a Certificate III in Children’s Services. New graduates or currently studying Educators are encouraged to apply;

Working with Children Check (QLD);

Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate/s (ACECQA Approved);

Knowledge of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS);

Good oral and written communication skills;

Fantastic at building a rapport with families and children;

Willingness to learn about the organisation and work within the philosophy of Scotts Road Child Care Centre.

Candidates must be available to work between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.
