Claremont College is thrilled to launch our brand new Preparatory program in 2026, Wylie Cottage, a dynamic, future-focused School Readiness Program for 4- and 5-year-old children in the year before they begin Kindergarten. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to pioneer this exciting new chapter in our schoolβs journey.

About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
β A degree in Early Childhood and holds NESA accreditation (or eligibility for accreditation) to teach in NSW.
β Experienced working as an Early Childhood Teacher (preferably minimum 5 Years of Experience)
β Has a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and NSW NESA Curriculum and a passion for child-centred education.
β Demonstrates warmth, empathy, and a nurturing approach, helping children feel safe, confident and celebrated for who they are.
β Works collaboratively with staff and families to support every childβs learning journey.
β Thrives in a team-oriented, reflective and forward-thinking school culture.
β Upholds the values of the school and actively supports and reflects the Christian ethos and mission of the School.
β A current WWCC is required.
Key Responsibilities
β Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
β Support studentsβ transition to school by building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, social-emotional and spiritual development.
β Work in partnership with a Teaching and Learning Assistant, Learning Enrichment Team and Specialists Subject Teachers.
β Foster strong relationships with families, acting as a trusted guide in their childβs early education.
β Create a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring learning environment where each child is known and valued.
