Early Childhood Teacher & Diploma Room Leader
**Location:**Learning Blocks Child Care Centre, 81 Sherridon Crescent, Quakers Hill
Learning Blocks Child Care Centre is currently seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team:
Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)β Full-time, Room Leader/Educational Leader in the 3β5 Year Old Room
Diploma Qualified Educatorβ Room Leader in the Babies Room
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Provide high-quality education and care for children aged 0β6 years, supporting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
Plan, deliver, and review educational programs in collaboration with other educators.
Develop and implement programs for children and families to support child development.
Monitor childrenβs health and well-being, maintain developmental records, and provide feedback to parents.
Facilitate engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences to enhance social, communication, and motor skills.
Support children with self-help skills, including eating, dressing, and toileting.
Observe and document childrenβs progress, identifying and reporting any potential learning or behavioural concerns.
Ensure all centre policies and practices are consistently followed.
Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
Attend staff meetings and parent meetings as required.
Requirements
-
Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education Degree (B Teaching / B ECE or equivalent), OR currently working towards an ECT qualification.
OR Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Experience:
Minimum 1β2 years of relevant experience.
Previous Room Leader experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and documentation.
Licensing & Registration
-
CurrentWorking With Children Check,First Aid Certificate,Asthma & Anaphylaxis Management Certificate, andFood Safety/Handling Certificate.
NESA registration(for ECTs) or at least 50% completion of an approved ECT qualification.
