Job Description
Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood.
Our philosophy of learning and teaching is to foster positive relationships, explicitly teach Literacy and Numeracy skills and use an inquiry-based, concept driven approach underpinned by high impact teaching strategies.

The positions available are full-time permanent positions and fixed term replacement positions across our three campuses.
Applicants must have the following;
a current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching,
current First Aid Certificate
a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.

A demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum standards, including the ability to incorporate the explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
A demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing the high impact teaching strategies.
A demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and using this learning to inform planning and instruction.
A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, colleagues and the wider school community to support student engagement and learning.
A demonstrated passion to contribute to and to work as part of the vibrant team at Mount Scopus Memorial College.
