👩‍🏫 About the Role

As a valued Educator at The Little Unicorn, you’ll play an important role in shaping the early experiences of children aged birth to six years. You’ll work within a supportive team of educators and leaders who share your passion for high-quality early education.

You will be:

Contributing to programming, planning and meaningful documentation

Building secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and families

Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team

Committed to continual reflection and improvement

We’re looking for educators who are enthusiastic, nurturing, and committed to delivering exceptional early childhood education.

You’ll need to have:

ADiplomain Early Childhood Education and Care OR aCertificate IIIand be willing to commence your Diploma studies OR beworking towardsa Diploma qualification

CurrentFirst Aid,Asthma, andAnaphylaxiscertification

ValidChild Protectiontraining

A currentWorking With Children Check (WWCC)

Strong communication skills — both written and verbal

Understanding of theEYLF,NQF, andNational Regulations

Confidence in documentation, planning, and programming

A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their growth and development

Desire forlong-term employmentand building strong relationships within the service

Flexibility to work within a set roster, with some adaptability to meet service needs
