About Discovery Early Learning Centres:
We are a Tasmanian family-owned and operated organisation with extensive experience in providing high-quality education and care programs for children from birth to twelve years of age, across Tasmania. Consistently recognised across the state as Exceeding National Quality Standards, ensuring the highest level of education and care for every child.
We offer Long Day Care, Preschool programs and Outside School Hours Care including, Before School, After School and Vacation Care. We understand every family has different needs and, with this in mind, we offer care on a full-time or part-time basis. Occasional care and casual care are available where a vacancy exists.
The role:
We are seeking qualifiedEducatorsto join our professional team at our Bungawitta Early Learning Centre. Ideally, we are seeking full-time, diploma qualified staff, with availability across Monday - Friday, 6.30am - 6.30pm. However, we are able to offer part-time flexibility for the right candidate. We encourage experienced Certificate III qualified educators to apply.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality early education programs for children in a safe, secure, challenging and nurturing environment that is rich, flexible and encourages learning, curiosity, creativity and exploration. You will work with children in our spectacular indoor and outdoor facilities, supported by a team of experienced managers.
Duties:
Observe children to identify individual needs, interests, and developmental progress
Assist with Educational programming and routines
Work collaboratively with other educators to coordinate activities
You must have:
Any ACEQA-approved qualification (Diploma preferred)
Current employment class, Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration
Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours
