Qualified OSHC Educator

Join Our Team! We’re currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified OSHC Educators to become part of our dynamic team atBlakeview Primary School OSHC. In this role, you’ll help create a supportive, engaging, and child-centred learning environment, guided by the National Quality Standards.

About the Role

You’ll work collaboratively with the OSHC team to plan and implement programs based on theSchool Age Care Framework (OSHC/Vacation Care), ensuring a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children.

This position may also offer opportunities to act as theResponsible Personin charge of the service during operational hours, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

Engaging in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that reflect the interests and developmental needs of school-aged children

Supporting the wellbeing, inclusion, and safety of all children

Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Assisting in the daily operation of the OSHC service, including set-up, pack-down, and supervision of routines

Ensuring compliance with theNational Quality Framework (NQF), including theEducation and Care Services National RegulationsandNational Law

Maintaining accurate records and documentation

Upholding the policies and values of the school and service

Shift Details

**Before School Care:**6:30am – 9:00am

**After School Care:**3:00pm – 6:00pm (2:00pm – 6:00pm on Thursdays)

**Vacation Care:**Variable shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

You Will Need:

Approved ACECQA Diploma level qualification(List of approved qualifications: https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved)

A current**Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC)**certificate

A valid**Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012)**certificate

A current and validDepartment of Human Services Working With Children Check (WWCC)
