We’re now seeking a passionate and experiencedQuality and Practice Managerto join our leadership team. This is a role purposefully designed to meet the evolving needs of our service. You’ll report directly to the Centre Manager, stepping into that role when needed while leading centre-wide compliance and working closely with our Pedagogy Leader to elevate educational practice, inspire reflective teaching, and drive continuous improvement across the team.
Blending operational leadership with pedagogical influence, this role is all about helping children, families, and educators flourish in a high-performing, values-led environment.
What the Role Looks Like:
You’ll work alongside the Centre Manager and Pedagogy Leader to:
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the centre, making sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
Guide and support our team of educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF, NQS, and sector best practice.
Foster a strong, values-driven culture where reflective practice, curiosity, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.
Oversee compliance, health and safety, and ensure our environments are safe, engaging, and child-led.
Build strong, respectful relationships with families and the broader community.
Be a mentor and role model for our team and bring out the best in every educator.
Who You Are:
You’re an experienced early childhood leader who is passionate about the early learning sector, loves mentoring others, solving problems, and creating environments where people feel valued and children feel empowered. You’re confident in compliance, curriculum, and communication.
A Bachelor's degree or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards it)
A current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
Valid driver’s license
At least two years' leadership experience (Educational Leader, Assistant Director, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, QKLG, and child development theory
Confidence in leading teams, supporting compliance, and driving improvement
Demonstrated experience in leading curriculum development, mentoring educators, and supporting the planning and assessment cycle
Proven ability to deliver high-quality programs that meet the learning outcomes of approved frameworks
Experience in a coaching/mentoring role with educators across multiple age groups
Experience using platforms like Storypark, Xplor, or other digital documentation tools
Previous experience managing budgets or overseeing kindergarten funding allocations
Knowledge of CCS systems and administrative operations within a long day care context
