Room Assistants and Room Leaders (0-3)

The Opportunity

Arkie Early Education Centre in Five Dock is seeking passionate and experienced Room Assistants and Room Leaders (0-3) to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time role where you will play a pivotal part in providing high-quality care and education for children in our centre.

Key Responsibilities

Build strong, nurturing relationships with children and their families

Plan and implement engaging age-appropriate activities and experiences to support children's learning and development

Observe and document children's progress, interests, and needs to inform program planning

Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organised environment for children to thrive

Collaborate with the broader team to deliver exceptional early childhood education

Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care

Demonstrated experience working with children aged 0-3 years in a childcare or early learning setting

Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families

Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive, and nurturing care

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Current First Aid Certificate, including anaphylaxis and asthma management

Working with Children Check and National Police Check
