Room Leader – ECT, Diploma or Cert III Qualified

Smarties Early Learning Centre, a purpose-built 58-place service in Peakhurst, is currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within a supportive and collaborative environment where your contributions are genuinely valued.

About the Role

As a Room Leader at Smarties, you will:

Lead your room's daily routines and learning program with confidence and professionalism

Plan, implement, and reflect on engaging experiences aligned with the EYLF and NQS

Foster meaningful relationships with children, families, and educators

Guide and support your room’s team to ensure smooth operation and a positive atmosphere

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment that supports children’s growth

About You

We’re looking for an educator who:

Holds aBachelor of Teaching (Birth to Five Years), Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care(ACECQA approved)

Has leadership potential or experience leading a room or small team

Demonstrates a strong understanding of theEYLF and NQS

Has excellent communication, organisational, and team collaboration skills

Is passionate about early learning and committed to nurturing every child’s potential

You will also need:

A currentWorking With Children Check

CurrentFirst Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxistraining
