Job Description
Perth Montessori seeks aMontessori Guide(teacher) for a 12-month family leave position in our Childrenโs House, catering for students aged 3 to 6 yearsbeginning Term 4, 2025 (13 October).
About the School Perth Montessori is an independent, non-denominational school in Burswood, WA, providing education from early childhood through to Year 12. The Role Working in a multi-age environment across Pre-Kindy, Kindy, and Pre-Primary, you will nurture childrenโs curiosity and independence, delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive education in line with Montessori philosophy.
This role is ideal for a reflective, dedicated educator who finds joy in working with young children and supporting their families. You will be a collaborative team member, committed to creating a respectful and nurturing learning community.
About You
Qualified teacher eligible for TRBWA registration, with early years certification
Montessori Diploma (3โ6 years) from a recognised training centre
Demonstrated experience as a Montessori Guide with children aged 3โ6 (highly desirable)
Knowledge of the Montessori National Curriculum, EYLF, and WA Curriculum
Strong understanding of early literacy instruction, with experience in evidence-based reading programs (e.g. Enhanced Letters and Sounds) desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
