We're proud of our ULTRA values - they drive everything we do. And right now, we're on the lookout for a passionate, experienced, and motivated Team Leader to help us shape the future at our John Palmer Public School service (licensed for 197 children).
About the Role As Team Leader, you'll be an essential part of our leadership team - mentoring staff, leading by example, and ensuring our service is the best it can be for children, families, and the community.
In this role you will:
Support and mentor a dynamic team of educators
Overseeing program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and NWCC policies & procedures.
Assist with key administrative and operational tasks.
Help lead the service through Assessment and Rating.
Report directly to the Nominated Supervisor.
About You You're anatural leaderwho thrives in a fast-paced, fun, and meaningful environment. You're passionate about children's wellbeing and development, and you're ready to take your OOSH career to the next level.
You'll bring:
A Diploma in School Aged Education and Care (or equivalent). Cert IV will be considered with a commitment (supported by NWCC) to complete to Diploma level or relevant years of experience in an OOSH setting
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within a large OOSH setting
Proven leadership and mentoring experience
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and "My Time, Our Place"
A collaborative, can do attitude with great organisational skills
Confidence with compliance, rostering, and administration
A current Working with Children Check, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training, Food Safety Supervisor and Child Protection certificate
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
You are able to demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and values of NWCC
