Little Lane Early Learning Centre β Glen Irisis a brand-new purpose-built service. Located in Glen Iris, we provide the highest quality education and care programs to children aged between birth and school age, living in and around the local area.
We know that our staff will be integral to everything that we do, so we are ready to start knitting together a team of early childhood professionals with varying skills, qualifications and experiences to create a rich tapestry of diversity that will be able to support the Little Lane ELC philosophy.
The opportunity
The successful applicant/s will need to be able to adapt to change, be flexible, and learn the rooms routine, while developing bonds with the children, families and staff of the service.
We believe in consistency of staff and do require educators that can work 5 days a week, filling different shifts between 7am to 6.00pm, ideally the successful candidate/s will have hold their Diploma, or willing to study, be able to work with any age group and work with many different personalities. This position will be Full time (38 hours a week)
About you:
Hold a Diploma in Childrenβs services.
Previous experience in a lead educator role.
Hold first aid and CPR.
Hold a current Working with Children's Check.
Have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Able to follow policies and procedures.
Duties
Monitor, record and evaluate childrenβs learning and development
To provide active supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of each child.
To provide an age appropriate routine that allows children to settle into the Centre and separate confidently and comfortably from their family.
