Toddler Room Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Toddler Room Leader to join our dynamic team at Evolve Early Learning Centre in Bligh Park, NSW. As the Toddler Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and guiding the development of our youngest learners, aged 2-3 years old. This is a full-time position that will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the children in your care.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that promote the physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth of toddlers

Supervise and mentor a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment

Observe and document children's progress, creating individualised learning plans to support their development

Establish and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring open communication and involving them in the learning process

Ensure a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and policies

Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum 1 years' experience as a Toddler Room Leader or equivalent role in the childcare industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and your team

Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing high-quality, play-based learning programs

Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting the holistic development of young children

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates

Working with Children Check and National Police Check
