About the role

The Learning Jungle is seeking a Trainee Childcare professional to join our team in the Penrith area. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding childcare environment. As a Trainee Childcare professional, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional care and education to the children in our centre.

What you'll be doing

Assisting in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational and recreational activities for children 2.

Ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all children in your care 3.

Fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues 4.

Participating in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge 5.

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies

What we're looking for

A passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their development and well-being 2.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues 3.

A willingness to learn and a dedication to ongoing professional development 4.

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team 5.

A current Working with Children Check or the willingness to obtain one
