About the business

First Years Early Learning Blackbutt is a small family owned and operated centre. We provide free meals (3 daily), nappies, hats and uniforms.

We believe in play based learning and in achieving high quality outcomes for our children and their families. We offer a progressive, well resourced educational program including specialist educators for music and movement and Tennis.

About the role

We are seeking full time energetic and creative people to join our team and build their career, making a difference in children's lives. We are currently looking for:

Trainees with no experience but love for children;

Educators studying Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood; or

Educators with Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood.

We require Educators who are flexible, work well within a team and have a positive, happy disposition! Kids need people with big smiles :)

We work closely as a team and are lucky to be in a small family owned and operated centre as it allows us to build strong relationships with each other and the children and families within our care. We share the day to day roles and work together.

You will be working with a professional team of dedicated Educators helping to implement a play based curriculum and providing quality care for our children and families.

Essential qualifications:

1.

Hold or currently studying towards a Bachelor of Education, Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Educationor willing to complete a traineeship. 2.

Holdor willing to obtainan Working With Children Check (Blue card) 3.

Holdor willing to obtaina First Aid Certificate and CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training 4.

Holdor willing to obtainChild Protection Training 5.

Holdor willing to obtainFood Safety Training
