Transport Aid - Childcare

**KaGo Transport Services are currently looking for Transport Aids to join our team. ***Locations: Huntingdale, Quinns, Leda and Morley, WA *Part-Time – Monday to Friday

**About Us **KaGo Transport Services provides safe and reliable transport services for our community, ensuring children travel securely and comfortably to and from our early learning centres and schools. This is a key role in supporting childcare services, helping families and keeping children safe every step of the way.

We are committed to child safety, cultural respect, and building strong community connections. Our Transport Aids play an essential role in safely transporting children to and from our centres, ensuring their journey is secure, comfortable, and positive.

**About the Role **We are seeking caring, reliable, and safety-conscious Transport Aids to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring children are transported safely to and from our centres while feeling supported and comfortable during their journey.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the safe embarking and disembarking of children on and off the vehicle.

Support the driver in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children during transport.

Maintain accurate attendance/roll checks for transported children.

Provide reassurance and supervision to children during travel.

Communicate respectfully with children, families, and staff.

Uphold health and safety standards at all times.

About You

Genuine care and patience when working with children.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and attentive in varying situations.

Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to child safety.

Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential).

Requirements

Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).

National Police Clearance.

Availability for school pick-up/drop-off times.
