Assistant Centre Director

About the role

As the Assistant Centre Director at Precious Moments Early Learning Centre in Madeley, WA, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in providing strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing, reputable childcare centre.

What you'll be doing Assist the Centre Director in the overall management and administration of the centre, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance Support the recruitment, induction, training, and development of educators to build a highly capable and engaged team Contribute to the development and implementation of the centre's educational program, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework Maintain positive relationships with families, effectively communicate centre policies and procedures, and address any concerns or feedback Collaborate with the Centre Director to drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for growth and innovation Ensure the centre's operations adhere to all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards

What we're looking for Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or management role within an early childhood education and care (ECEC) setting Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and experience in implementing educational programs that support children's learning and development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills A genuine passion for providing high-quality early childhood education and a commitment to continuous improvement
