Job Description
Our brand-new centre in Bellfield is on the hunt for an exceptional Assistant Centre Manager/Educational leader. We are looking for a confident, capable and vibrant person who is passionate about Early Childhood Education, leading the curriculum and driving a successful centre alongside the Centre Manager!
The successful candidate will possess:
Proven experience as an Assistant Centre Manager - 1+ years minimum
Experience opening or leading a new centre from start-up (preferable, not essential)
A strong knowledge in Curriculum implementation, documenting children's learning and the ability to guide and mentor the team to successfully implement the full planning cycle, implement experiences based on children's interests and developmental needs, and conduct audits on the programming and documentation
A strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and regulatory compliance
A desire to learn about an International Curriculum being implemented in Australia
A collaborative leadership style that enhances partnerships, supports growth and utilises everyoneβs strengths
Experience & confidence in developing strong connections in the local community
Great customer service skills
Your Responsibilities as the Assistant Centre Manager/Educational Leader:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, including full compliance with all regulatory requirements
Marketing your centre in the community and making valuable, ongoing local connections
Recruit and lead a passionate team from the beginning and maintain adequate rostering for the needs to the centre
Drive and maintain enrolment growth, staff retention, and strong customer service
Cover programming time for each room (on an allocated roster)
Support, mentor and audit all programming and documentation of children's learning

Key Requirements:
Early Childhood Education qualification.
Valid Employee Working with Children's Check.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
Experience in an early childhood setting relevant to the role you are applying for.
Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.
A strong understanding and proven ability to implement the Child Safe Standards, Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting.
