CCPS Little Learners Kindergarten Teacher

CCPS Little Learners Kindergarten Teacher (Term 4 Contract).

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher who wishes to work in an Independent school setting.

About the role and group:

The ECT teacher will therefore work collaboratively with other CCPS teachers (eg Specialist teachers) to align and deliver a seamless CCPS Kindergarten curriculum preparing our learners to transition into Prep.

You are able to utilise CCPS facilities such as the school library, multi purpose hall, oval and tennis courts to deliver engaging experiences for our learners.

The hours of duty will be 8.00 am - 3.30pm for Term 4, 2025 (school term time). We offer above award wages and 2% additional SGC superannuation.

Commencement date: 7th October 2025

You will be

Create positive, professional and genuine relationships with your colleagues, children and their families

Assist in the delivery of a meaningful, holistic educational program based on the EYLF and QKLG and inspired by Learning Through Play philosophies and Nature Play QLD

Have a high level of motivation and initiative whilst being professional, proactive, flexible and fair

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Assist in the preparation of the QIP, SIP and review of policies and procedures

You will have

ACECQA approved early childhood teaching qualification or if you hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary).

Registered with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).

CHCPRT025-Identify and report children and young people at risk

Working with Children Check Blue Card and Registration with QCT

Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain

Current Child Protection training or willingness to obtain

Experience with Xplor software preferred but not essential

Our Kindergarten is located in a purpose-built 75 place Early Learning Centre located on 10 ha within the grounds of Caloundra City Private School. We welcome children aged 6 weeks to 6 years providing holistic early childhood education and care including a government approved Kindergarten program.
