Your Role

• Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks for children
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked kitchen
• Order supplies and manage inventory
• Work closely with educators to meet children’s dietary requirements
• Support the centre’s mealtime routines and assist where needed
• Continue learning about nutrition for different age groups, particularly infants

Role Details:

• **Days:**5 days per week preferred
• **Hours:**6:30am – 2:30pm OR 7:00am – 3:00pm
• **Training:**Full support and training provided by our Head Chef and opportunities to shadow other centre chefs.

About You

You're passionate about creating food with purpose and care.

You have:

• Commercial Food Safety Handling Certificate
• Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and allergy management
• A practical understanding of food budgeting and planning
• Cooking experience in early childhood settings (desirable but not essential)
• A commitment to supporting children’s growth, development, and wellbeing through food
• Strong time management skills
