Qualifications & Position Requirements

-

Must have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)

Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within early childhood

In-depth understanding of the NQF, EYLF V2.0, and National Law & Regulations

NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Key Responsibilities

-

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the centre to ensure high standards of care, education, and compliance

Act as the Nominated Supervisor, upholding all legislative responsibilities

Mentor and support educators in planning and delivering engaging programs aligned with EYLF V2.0 and NQF

Manage enrolments, waitlists, and occupancy goals

Manage family communications and ensure open, professional, and responsive engagement at all times

Manage centre accounts including family invoicing, fee payments, and following up on outstanding debts

Maintain and develop the QIP and ensure A&R readiness

Handle staff management including rostering, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management

Build and sustain a culture of inclusion, growth, and respect

Support a safe, joyful, and high-performing workplace

Represent and uphold the values, policies, practices and philosophy of Karimbla ELC

Oversee centre maintenance and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming physical environment
