• Working 5 days per week from 9am - 3pm

About the Opportunity Uniting Ella Early Learning Haberfieldhas supported families in our community for over 30 years, with education and childcare, including a preschool program. We are open long hours for children from birth to five years. Within our historic federation house and beautiful grounds in a quiet residential street, our service offers warm and welcoming indoor learning spaces and stimulating outdoor environments designed to inspire and engage. We value every child as an individual with a unique personality, interests and needs, so we can best help them to unlock and achieve their potential while enjoying their time in our care.

What you’ll be doing As our Cook, you will:

Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5

Cater to allergies and dietary needs while following food safety and hygiene guidelines

Manage kitchen stock, ordering, and food preparation schedules

Who we’re looking for

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate(Essential)

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education(Desirable not required)

Experience in preparing meals in an early learning or similar setting

A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to support across roles
