Childcare Early Childhood Teacher | North Mackay

Journey Early Learning is seeking a passionate and committed Early Childhood Teacher to join our North Mackay team. In this role, you’ll spark curiosity, nurture each child’s growth, and lead our Kindergarten group with high-quality programs that support their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development

This is a full-time opportunity across Monday to Friday.

About the role:

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment that nurtures each child’s growth across all areas of development. You’ll design and deliver engaging programs that foster wellbeing, spark curiosity, and build confidence in our Kindergarten group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times

• Create, develop and implement high quality and engaging educational programs

• Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities

• Observing and documenting children's progress and development

• Fostering positive relationships with children, families and the community

• Develop and participate in a variety of community projects and initiatives

• Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment

Who are you?

You’re an experienced Early Childhood Teacher with a passion for delivering high-quality care and programs that help children thrive, grow, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• ACECQA Approved Bachelor's/ Master’s Degree or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Current Valid Working with Children Check

• Outstanding level of verbal and written communication

• Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
