About Our School
Fr John Therry Catholic Primary is a two-stream K-6 co-educational Catholic School situated in Balmain. We are committed to delivering a Catholic education that is underpinned by the Good Samaritan Tradition.
We invite collaborative and energetic educators to apply for the temporary, full-time position that will begin in 2026. This position will be for a classroom teacher.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who wishes to be a part of a committed team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- a commitment to supporting the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- an openness to ongoing learning, improvement and feedback
- a commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team
- sound knowledge of K-6 Curriculum and the application of contemporary effective learning pedagogies
- skill in utilising a variety of assessments and data to drive student profiles
- effective classroom management skills focused on student well-being.
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as perAccreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
