About Our School

Fr John Therry Catholic Primary is a two-stream K-6 co-educational Catholic School situated in Balmain. We are committed to delivering a Catholic education that is underpinned by the Good Samaritan Tradition.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who wishes to be a part of a committed team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• a commitment to supporting the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
• an openness to ongoing learning, improvement and feedback
• a commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team
• sound knowledge of K-6 Curriculum and the application of contemporary effective learning pedagogies
• skill in utilising a variety of assessments and data to drive student profiles
• effective classroom management skills focused on student well-being.

You will have attained:

• a tertiary qualification in Education
• eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as perAccreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
