Cook/Chef for Brand New Early Education Centre

Little Scholars School of Early Learning Karalee, a brand new campus that opened in June 2025, is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable cook/chef to join our team.

The successful applicant will be required to cook and prepare morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for approx. 92 children per day, ranging from 6 week to 6 years old.

Menu planning, ordering and stock control will also form part of the daily duties for this role.

Our centre cook/chef will also plan and implement weekly cooking experiences with the children.

The successful applicant should have:

Food Safety Supervisor and Food Handling certificate

Cooking experience and qualifications

Knowledge of the Food Safety Standards

Working with children check

This is a permanent part-time role. We have flexible working arrangements available to ensure a healthy work-life balance, as well as a discount on child care.

This role is part-time hours and 5 days per week and the successful applicants need to be available for shifts anywhere between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.

Must have an understanding of allergy and dietary requirements

Must hold a working with children check or be willing to obtain
