Our purpose-built childcare centre in Mayfield has an opportunity for a Cook / Kitchen Hand to assist with preparing and cooking meals for our children. We are inviting applications from enthusiastic cooks who are looking towork part-time, between 8.30am and 1pm, Monday to Friday.

This opportunity is ideal for home cooks and experienced chefs alike, and would suit someone who enjoys working independently in asupportive environment.

Duties include:

🌱 Preparing and cooking simple meals and snacks for children

🌱 Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene of food preparation areas

Essential Selection Criteria:

🌱 Current Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)

🌱 Strong attention to safe food handling procedures

🌱 Exceptional organisational and time management skills

🌱Professional cooking experience is not required: passionate home cooks are welcome to apply!

Hours: 21.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between school hours)
