Diploma or Cert 3 Split Shift Position

The opportunity

Day One Early Learning Centres' is seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma or Certificate III Educator to join our team in Eagleby, QLD on a daily split shift basis. In this part-time role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the children in our centre.

Key responsibilities

1.

Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years 2.

Observe, document and assess children's learning and development 3.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families and the broader community 4.

Ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children 5.

Work collaboratively with the educational team to deliver the centre's curriculum and achieve organisational goals 6.

Undertake administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

1.

Ability to consistently work a split shift 5 days a week. 2.

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care 3.

Experience working in a similar early childhood education and care role 4.

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 5.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 6.

Passion for supporting children's learning and development 7.

Reliable, flexible and a team player 8.

Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
