Blue Gum Community School opened in 1998 - a unique small school in Inner North Canberra offering programs from birth to 16 years (Playgroups through to Year 10).

We offer Preschool classes for 3-5 year olds at our Hackett Campus & our Dickson Campus. ‘Word of mouth’ recommendations from families ensure that our high-quality education programs attract a long waiting list.

So, we're excited to invite outstanding early childhood educators (preferably diploma-qualified or in the final years of ECT degree) to join, and be mentored by, our wonderful Preschool team. We have 1 full-time (or 2 part-time) position/s available. We're looking for people who advocate for the importance of early childhood education, especially the preschool years… people who relish working alongside small groups of young children, as they explore the world around them with a sense of awe and wonder… people who value children's amazing capabilities…
