Early Childhood Educator Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualified

Pearcedale Day Care & Kindergarten is part of a small community near the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. We are a family owned centre with an amazing staff retention rate. We are a small centre of 60 places, we are family friendly in accommodating our staff wherever possible.

Our friendly team has a professional approach and operates a dynamic, nurturing play based program. We also operate funded 3 & 4 year old Kindergarten programs

Qualifications & experience

Diploma Of Children's Services

Certificate 3 of Children's Services

Current First Aid Certificate

CPR certification

Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates

Valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one)

Knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Understanding of National Quality Standards (NQS)

Previous experience in early childhood education preferred but not essential for enthusiastic candidates

Tasks & responsibilities

This role is as a support qualified educator . You will work alongside and support the teaching staff of our Service.

You will work as part of a team to deliver a dynamic, nurturing play based program. You will be responsible for delivering effective early learning programs and evaluate their success.

The position is negotiable as to whether it is part time or casual for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is able to start with us as soon as possible.
