Job Description
Are you passionate about helping children and families thrive? Barnardos Australia is seeking a dedicated Educator to join our Early Learning centre in Ultimo, 2007. This is a full time, permanent opportunity to be part of a values-led organisation committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families.
As an Early Childhood Educator in our Preschool Room, you’ll use your leadership skills to inspire your team and support high-quality learning experiences, guided by our philosophy and the National Quality Framework.
Skills and Experience :
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
- 1-2 years experience in an approved education and care Service.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Strong Communication and inter-personal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting curriculum development and documenting children’s learning and development.
- Ability to relate effectively with children and their families.
- First aid qualification that is approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) that includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis management.

- Base salary: $36.12- $37.55 per hour + 12% superannuation
- Salary packaging: Up to $15,860 tax-free (general living expenses)
