Early Childhood Teacher

The Hills Community Kindergarten is a community based not-for-profit preschool catering for children 3-5 years old and located in Castle Hill. The Kindergarten has a strong community focused philosophy and values with long term, dedicated and passionate staff. The Preschool operates as per the NSW school terms, with children attending 8:15am-3:45pm. The Kindergarten is ratedExceedingunder the National Quality Standard and has an exceptional reputation in the community.

We are seeking two dedicated, nurturing, passionate and motivated Early Childhood Teachers or new graduates for a 12 month fixed term contract to commence on 13th October 2025. The roles we are seeking are:

· Full Time from October 2025, moving to Part Time 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday ) in Term 1 2026

· Part Time 2 days per week Monday and Tuesday

ACECQA Approved Teaching qualification

Approved child protection training, current WWCC and an example of your commitment to child safety

Strong working knowledge of the EYLF

Demonstrated ability to develop a play-based program and engage with the programming cycle

Demonstrated skills in forming positive partnerships and relationships with children and families

Knowledge and understanding of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and NQF

Strong commitment to the provision of quality preschool education

Commitment to guiding and maintaining a co-operative team approach

Knowledge and understanding of early childhood development, theory and practice

Knowledge and understanding of community based preschool operations

Excellent verbal and written communication

Understanding of Early Childhood Code of Ethics and the rights of the child

Competent computer skills, including Microsoft 365

Current First Aid Certificate and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
