Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

Ingleburn Montessori Early Learning Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our welcoming and nurturing learning environment. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for facilitating engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs that promote the growth and learning of young children. This full-time role is based in Ingleburn, NSW 2565.

What you'll be doing

Designing and implementing Montessori-inspired curriculum and activities to support the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of children aged 0-5 years

Fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independent learning

Observing and assessing children's progress, and providing individualised support and guidance to meet their unique needs

Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and the wider community to build strong relationships and support the holistic development of each child

Maintaining accurate records and documentation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre's policies and practices

Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (0-5/0-12)

Minimum 1 year of experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher in a Montessori or similar early learning environment

Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging learning experiences

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues as an ECEC professional

Demonstrated commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification, Police Check
