EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant team at Master Kid Child Care Centre in Matraville. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care, nurturing the development and well-being of our young learners. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Designing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children

Fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning

Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to inform your teaching practice

Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support the individual needs of each child

Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent

Proven experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a long day care or preschool setting

Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Passion for creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Current First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a valid Working with Children Check
