The IGS Early Learning Centre (ELC) encourages children 3-5 years to explore and discover their world and supports the joy of learning another language, and music - our school’s unique offerings.

The ELC welcomes children from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic early learning team. This is a full-time, temporary position covering a staff member on leave and will commence October 2025 to July 2026.

Essential criteria:

ACECQA recognised university qualification in Early Childhood Teaching

Current NESA registration

Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications

Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtain

Safe Food Supervisor qualifications or willingness to obtain

Demonstrated understanding of current early education and care legislation regulations and pedagogy including the EYLF and Reggio Emilia approach

High level interpersonal skills, demonstrated initiative and proactive problem solving ability

Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children, families and colleagues

Current WWCC

Sound computer skills
