The role:
We are seeking Diploma Qualified Education and Care Practitioners to join our team. This is your opportunity to join a dedicated team to deliver a quality play-based program inLong Day Care.
Education and Care Practitioner role, Level 2B on our Enterprise Agreement
Part time, various rosters available

In this role, you will:
Uphold the safety, rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with a zero-tolerance approach to child maltreatment, abuse and neglect.
Provide meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences that nurture children’s curiosity, creativity, and growth.
Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Create engaging and welcoming room setups that promote exploration and learning
Document and reflect on children’s learning and development
Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships, share insights about children’s learning, and ensure continuity between home and the service.
Commit to your own professional growth and development
Always work in line with Lady Gowrie Tasmania’s policies, procedures, and the National Quality Framework

What you’ll bring:
An ACECQA-approvedDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care(Please note that we are not seeking ECT's for this position)
Previous experience in a similar role and a demonstrated strong commitment to child safety
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, with willingness to learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework
A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child-related activity – childcare services)
