CatholicCare Tasmania is the primary social services agency of the Catholic Church across Tasmania. We have 60 years’ experience delivering a wide range of services and support to improve individual, family and community wellbeing. Our services are available and open to all with a particular focus on families, young people and children.
CatholicCare Tasmania’s Early Learning and Care Team are looking for motivated and energetic educators to join our fantastic Outside School Hours Care Program in Southern Tasmania.
CatholicCare Tasmania Early Learning and Care Programs aim to provide the highest standard of learning and care. The programs are carefully planned to ensure they are developmentally appropriate and stimulating.
We ensure the programs are culturally and social inclusiveness together with providing family involvement in all aspects of the activities which is vital to the functioning of our services.

The Role:
Create a positive and enriching environment to support and engage school aged children in OHSC and vacation care.
Maintain effective communication with the parents
Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
You will have the opportunity to use your skills to help create an engaging program.
You will become part of the CatholicCare team that help support and enrich the lives of children and families.
As an Educator you will need?
A passion for the Early Childhood Industry
Working with Vulnerable People Registration
National Police Check
Focus on Health & Safety requirements
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read and interpret Policies and Procedures
