Family Assistant/Nanny

A busy family in Southern Gold Coast is seeking a warm, organised, and proactive Nanny/Housekeeper to support both the household and the care of their two school aged boys. This is a long term role for someone reliable and capable of balancing childcare, household tasks, and family organisation.

**Start:**ASAP

**Children:**2 boys (14 and 8 years old)

**Pets:**1 friendly dog

Hours

**Monday:**10:30am – 5:30pm

**Tuesday:**1:30pm – 5:30pm

**Wednesday:**10:30am – 5:30pm

**Thursday:**10:30am – 5:30pm Some flexibility will be offered for the right candidate (e.g Tuesday and Wednesday hours can be swapped)

Key Responsibilities

Childcare & Family Support

School runs and after school support

Assisting with homework and daily routines

Encouraging active, creative, and screen free play

Providing consistent care and setting healthy boundaries

Helping with children’s daily organisation (meals, bags, uniforms)

Housekeeping & Household Management

General household cleaning and tidying

Laundry and linen care

Meal preparation and family dinners

Managing groceries and household supplies

Deep cleaning and maintenance as needed

Running errands and assisting with household tasks

Light upkeep of outdoor areas

About You

-

Previous experience in childcare and housekeeping

Warm, engaging, and able to connect well with children

Organised, proactive, and able to work independently

Comfortable with family meal preparation

Reliable, flexible, and able to use initiative

At ease in a busy household with children and pets
